Element Properties

The different characteristics of the element properties of the selected element can be changed in the element properties. Special features in relation to the various Custom View Objects are listed under Special cases. A system documentation is stored for the individual properties, which can be reached via F1.

If the selected element is an element predefined by the system (e.g. an identifier or data field for a business object), a number of properties are predefined with default values. It is possible to reset the value to the predefined value.

A number of element properties, such as titles, identifiers or tooltips are translation relevant. For these elements, a so-called text binding must be specified, with the help of which the system can determine the text to be displayed at runtime. A corresponding search help is integrated for the text binding.

If a translation-relevant field is provided with content that cannot be translated, warnings are issued.
