Intermediate Event

Intermediate Events are currently used as process milestones to track the progress of a process. The placement of milestones is subject to certain restrictions. Milestones cannot be placed in a parallel gateways and it is not allowed to place milestones in different gates of the same gateway. However milestones can be skipped by placing them in a exclusive gateway.
