Customizing Overview

In order to reduce the customizing effort control groups are defined with the relevant settings and then afterwards assigned to document types.

Rejected status	Defines status, after which the automatic data assignment of some other status shall be prevented.

Template Control	Settings for access, filing etc. for templates.
Assignment of SAP DMS applications	Assignment of SAP DMS applications to supported PC applications.
Protected AddIn paths	Prevention of automatic AddIn installation to certain paths (> MS Office Extension).
Customer-Exits	Registration of client specific function modules as customer exits.

Only general guidance. For specific hints concerning enhancements please consult the relevant documentation.

In case a master document has not been value-assigned or converted correctly the following points are to be considered:

The relevant document type must be assigned to a control group (see https://pronovia.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CUSTEN/pages/569376948 ).
The relevant SAP DMS application must be assigned to a PC application (see Assignment of SAP DMS Application ).
The automatic data filling / conversion of the relevant PC application must be assigned to a PC application (see Definition of Value Assignment ).
The automatic data filling to a status change is preformed acc. to the status transitions as defined in the control groups (see Assignment of SAP DMS Application ).
In case of automatic data filling on a Plossys conversion server, the relevant server-WS-application must be set in the settings of the PC application. Please regard references in PC Applications .
