Processing Scenarios

Remarks

If a status network is used on a plant specific or distribution channel specific material status, only one of the status changes should trigger a processing scenario. Else an error message will be indicated.
Since version 4.3 the Doc.PlugIn which must be used for the processing scenario will be automatically determined. The information cannot be maintained anymore in this customizing view. In general, the handling or relevant CAD data will be done by ProIntegrationLib. The use of former plug-in (DUG, IVT, CCA) is still supported. However if in case a document plug-in type for a processing scenario must be changed (use of „old" plug-in) transaction SM30 maintenance /PRONOVIA/PRMVZ9 can be used.
In case it is possible to set change numbers freely, the number will still be controlled, whether it has not yet be used in another relevant configuration change.

To assure that ProConfiguration and the SAP engineering change management work properly together, following settings in Engineering Change Management Control Data are required:

Ext. Revision Level
This option must NOT be set. If activated, ProConfiguration isn't able to define the correct change master records for changes on objects referring client changes.

Higher Rev. Level
This option MUST be activated. If not, ProConfiguration isn't able to define the correct change master records for changes on objects referring client changes.

Assign Alternative Date
If alternative dates will be set using ProConfiguration (see "Alternative Date" below), then this option must NOT be set.

Activation

A processing scenario is activated by a status change (material) or data package versioning. This activation is made for the corresponding material master views/data package in the following settings:

Activation through X-plant material statuses
Activation by plant specific material status
Activation by distribution chain specific material status
Activation by data package
