Creating and Changing Data Packages

It is also possible to create processing scenarios, which can be used directly on data packages. This can be the creation of a new data package or change (new version). The activation depends on the customizing settings in view Processing Scenarios  Activation by data packages.

Remark:

• Status FROM = empty are scenarios for new creations. These processing scenarios can be started in the configuration display of the relevant organizational unit (client, plant, distribution).  Only data packages are offered for creation which are not yet existing in the relevant organizational unit.

• Status FROM <> are scenarios for a change. A change of a data package with this option is only possible for data packages, which are document info records with document structures. This function is started context menu of the data package in the configuration display. Only released data packages are available for change.

This kind of creations or changes should be restricted by suitable values in the filter fields of the various material status. Functions should not be possible, if a processing scenario was already started by the client or the organization unit or no changes should not be allowed in general.
