General Notes to Object Rleations Customizing

F4 help functions are activated but the fields are mostly without checks. Else value "*" could not be accepted. Disadvantage: wrong values will also be accepted.

Documents, protected with authorization groups for which the user has not authorization, cannot be edited. Also no actions on the documents are possible.

The x-plant distribution chain material status has no status net defined. With certain actions on this status, in combination with setting NOT MANUALLY, status changes can be restricted or manual changes prevented.

In general option NOT MANUALLY is only valid for objects, which are used in the ProConfiguration configuration. This is most important for document info records. If documents are created without reference to ProConfiguration, but the object identification is marked NOT MANUALLY, the option will not be effective.

When defining filter on status, remember that when creating an object, the current status of this object is empty / space.

When setting the destination status of a predecessor material by its successor, an implicit action will be triggered. Refer to Creating a Successor Material Data Record.
