Member Lists Mass Maintainance

Member lists can be maintained via a mass maintainance on several ways.

Since ProObjectLifecycleManager positions are a specific type of member lists, they can be maintained with this function as well. For the ProObjectLifecycleManager positions, work items will be created and users will be informed, if that is necessary according the executed report function.
The start of this function is via the ProUTI utilities or via transaction code /PRONOVIA/MBLMASSCHG:

Preliminary remark: After the execution of the report, a pop-up window is processed with all known member lists for the chosen type . In that window, the member lists that shall be considered for further procession should be marked with a selection flag. After confirming the pop-up window, the program determines all possible data records to be changed out of this preliminary selection.

Field	Description
Member list type	Type of the member list that is object to changes. This correlates to the ProNovia product acronym.
User	Selection of the users to be changed. The selection is valid for the report functions "Insert new members", "Change member data", "Delete members", "Set member inactive" and "Set member active".
Insert new members Function	With this option, the selected users are added to the selected member lists. The function, that is used to add the user to the member list.
Change member data Function	Enables the change of member data, or rather allows the change of the function type with which the selected user are registered on the selected member lists. The function that will be set newly.
Delete members	Deletes the selected users from the selected member lists.
Set member inactive	Inactivates the selected users from the selected member lists.
Set member active	Activates the selected users from the selected member lists.
Replace user User old User new	Replaces the user from the field "User old" with the user from the field "User new". If "User new" is already contained in a selected member list, the user won't be replaced. Instead an error message is processed.
Test run	Allows the execution of the program in a test mode. For real procession of the data (production run), the flag must be unmarked.

Selection of member lists

After start of the program, a pop-up window is shown. In that the member lists can be selected, which are to be considered for further procession.

Finally a list appears with the treated data records. Depending on the execution mode (test run, production run), the data records are modified in the data base or only written in the list on the screen.
