muD with Organizational Units

If multiple usages are set up in data packages of organizational units (plant, distribution) pay attention to the following notes:

• For data packages without BOM, the following restriction are valid:

  • This multiple used object can only be used in a data package belonging to a configuration.

  • Documents, which shall be linked, must belong to the same organizational unit (characteristic).

• For data packages with BOM, the following restrictions are valid:

  • Actions of depending organizational units may not be possible, because of  missing filter of processing scenario in another unit. This may require a client specific solution with a customer exit Handling of ConfTypes for multiple usages.

  • In general multiple usage of several data packages of different organizational units of the same material are possible, however the same restrictions as described above are valid.

  • Multiple usage of different data packages of the same  organizational units are not changed correctly and these configurations cannot be set up.
