Download / Upload of Forms

Views can be exported and imported in masses to exchange views between systems.

To enable this function the application controller CFW_CTRL_XML has to be maintained in the corresponding AFW designer application (by default AFW-FORM_DESIGNER).

Download

A single form can be downloaded using the download button in the application toolbar. The function generates a XML file based on the currently displayed form and version.

Also, in the widget view selection multiple forms can be downloaded at once. In this case the active versions are downloaded only. If no active version exist the highest version is downloaded instead.

Upload

Using the upload button in the application toolbar one or multiple forms can be uploaded. For each form a popup is shown, where the form name can be overridden. If a form with the chosen name already exist, a new version will created automatically.
