Adding Sub Objects

Certain items support the addition of sub-objects, in this example sub-items. These subobjects can be added via the context menu:

After selection, the dialog for maintaining the attributes is called and the sub-object is added to the item when it is confirmed (see Maintenance of Attributes).

Sub-items in material BOMs

For sub-items in a material BOM, the total of the maintained sub-item quantities is automatically added to the component quantity of the corresponding item. In this case, the component quantity on the item is not ready for input.
