"Object Selection – Clone Folder Structure" Widget

The column Clone allows the selection of a DMC folder or document for cloning. The icon indicates, that the folder or document will be cloned, the icon indicates, that the folder or document will not be cloned. The option Clone can be selected by clicking the icon .

The column Keep allows to take over an Document as a link in the new structure instead of cloning it. The icon indicates, that the document will be taken over/linked in the new structure, the icon indicates, that the document will not be taken over. This option os only available for documents and can be activated by clicking on the icon .

The column Ignore allows to ignore or skip a DMC folder or document (neither will it be cloned nor will it be taken over). Is a DMC folder set to ignore, all sub folders and documents of this folder will be ignored as well. The icon indicates that the folder or document will be ignored, the icon indicates that the folder or document will not be ignored (e.g. will be cloned ot will be taken over). The option Ignore can be activated by clicking on the icon .

Display / selection of the source version.
If there is more than one version of a document in the structure to be cloned, a version can be selected here, depending on the settings in the control group.

Selection whether the object links shall be copied as well. This option is only available for cloned folders or cloned documents.

Via the context menu of the nodes, the following functions are available:

The function change target data displays a pop up which allows the change the data for the new DMC folder or document according to the system settings.

If you exit the dialog box by choosing Save, the data is transferred and, if necessary, the characteristic values are inherited. If you exit the dialog using Cancel, no data is changed.

Displays the data of the reference folder or the reference document.

Activation of an available action via the context menu. Multi selection is supported. Only actions, which are available for at least one selected object are displayed.
