Create ECM (dark)

This task will create a new engineering change master (ECM) durgin execution. Following entries to adjust are available in the tab Further settings:

Profile	This field is obligatory and contains the specification of the profile with which the ECMwill be created. Further information concerning the usage of the profile can you find in the SAP standard documentation.
Description	In this obligatory field, you specify the origin of the ECM description. There are three possible sources of which the text is copied.
No text	The ecm is created without an text, the field stays empty. (Please make sure, your system allows the ECM creation without an text before choosing this option).
Process description	The text is copied from the process description.
Main object description	The text of the main object is the source of the ECM. description. Choose this option only when you are sure, that the process runs with a main object.
Add change master to object list	To use this option, the process needs to maintain an object list, which is activated on the level of the process definition. If acivated, the newly created ECM will be added as an object to the object list and can be used in the process from there on.
