Report Task

This task let you navigate to executable programs (technical 'reports') in SAP. In the tab Further settings the following entries can be made:

Skip Selection Screen	You activate this checkbox, if the start screen of the programm can and should be skipped. Please clarify beforehand, if it makes sense and it is possible to do so with the respectiv program (and maybe variant). E.g. it won't work, if there are obligatory entries on the screen that only can be filled manually during the execution of the program.
Program name	This is the technical program name as it is saved in the SAP data dictionary. This means it is also the name, that you would enter in transaction SA38 if you would start it from there. Please don't mix it up with the SAP transaction code that might be associated with the program.
Variant	For each SAP program, you can save so called variants which prefill some fields on the start screen of the prorgam. The values can be determined dynamicaly during run time (e.g. current date) or can be fixed values (e.g. a certain plant). Should the navigation use such a variant, than specify it here (optionaly).
Parameter	Parameters defined in the task can be passed to the program at the start. In this way, information from the process can be used in the program. The types Parameter or Selection as well as the determination via Constant or Expression are supported. With the parameter type "Selection" multi-line results are supported. Names, type and meaning of the parameters are program-specific and can be obtained from the corresponding documentation of the program.

The behavior when using variant and parameters at the same time depends on the corresponding function of the ABAP statement submit.

As a rule, the explicitly defined parameters overwrite the values from the variant.
