Selection of Validity
Function Validity in the title bar allows the definition of the validity of the material and its objects to be read and displayed. See below how validity settings between ProFramework and ProConfiguration are exchanged.
Select validity | Description / Application /Use |
---|---|
All validities | Description: The objects of a material are displayed for all validities (if activated, then without Declined changes). |
Validities starting with today's valid revision | Description: Objects for the selected material will be displayed for the actual validity revision level and revision levels in the future (if activated, then without Declined changes). |
Validities starting from today | Description: Select material and objects starting from today and all changes in future (if activated, then without Declined changes). |
Highest validity | Description: The objects of a material with the highest validity will be displayed. Depending on option without Declined changes, this is the absolute highest validity or the highest validity not declined. |
Declined changes | Declined changes are changes which are started but not ended and therefore not released. This is a declined state. The validity of such changes is always at the end of the date range (year 9999) and thus, such changes will never be used. Controls in the following settings, if declined changes are shown or not:

Exchange of validity settings between ProFramework and ProConfiguration
There are individual settings for the validity in ProFramework and in ProConfiguration . ProConfiguration provides more extensive options, in particular the display of several validities of a configuration within a date range. The table below describes how settings made in one application are exchanged with the other.
The validity ranges of ProFramework and ProConfiguration can be different. Correspondingly, the set ranges are displayed separately. For ProFramework in the push button to set the validity, in the CFM widget in the header of the navigation column.
