Multiple used Documents

Appropriate customizing settings can allow a document to be linked to multiple material masters. This is implicitly a multiple use and we speak of multiple use documents (muD).

A general distinction is made between two variants:

"Old" method no longer actively supported.

Change of the muD over a scenario of a configuration ("old").

A change is started on one of the usages and the muD is marked for versioning.
Depending on the setting all usages must also be taken into change.

This method is officially no longer supported. The corresponding value "Obsolete: Yes, check/apply on all usages" in the "Link" field of the object relevancies is only offered for compatibility reasons and should no longer be used.

Standard method

MuD are created and changed independently of the usages and then exchanged ("new") via the muD handling of the ProConfiguration in the usages.
