Template Originals for Document Objects

If set up and licensed appropriately, templates can be automatically read and assigned to document objects.

The following conditions apply:

• Office Integration / Conversion must be correctly set up and licensed including template handling.

• ProOffice must be installed and licensed for automatic filling of values in the Office documents.

The key which is specified under Template key in the ProConfiguration object definition must correspond to the rules and settings of the Office Integration / Conversion.

• Only approved templates are considered.

• The storage location is either defined via a customer exit, determined via an SAP DVS profile assigned to the user or the user is queried.
