Declined changes

Declined changes are changes which are started but not ended and therefore not released. This is a declined state. The validity of such changes is always at the end of the date range (year 9999) and thus, such changes will never be used.

Controls in the following settings, if declined changes are shown or not:

  • All validities

  • Validities starting with today's valid revision

  • Validities starting from today

  • Highest validity

The options are handled in following way:

  • Display, all objects → Declined changes are displayed with all data packages and object.

  • Display, only declined object changes → Declined changes are displayed, but only data packages and objects which are changed with the corresponding change and therefore also were declined.

  • Do not display → No declined changes are displayed.

Application: You are interested in the actual valid state of a KOFIMA-item.

Key date

Application: You are interested in the state of a KOFIMA-item on a certain date.
The validity can be defined, with entry filed key date or with the push button. In this case the validities to different objects in the configuration can be selected.

Validity date range

Description:
All objects of the material will be displayed to the validity date range selected.
Application:
You are interested in the state on a certain date or the history within a certain time range.
Remarks:
Please refer to option key date.

Exchange of validity settings between ProFramework and ProConfiguration

There are individual settings for the validity in ProFramework and in ProConfiguration . ProConfiguration provides more extensive options, in particular the display of several validities of a configuration within a date range. The table below describes how settings made in one application are exchanged with the other.

The validity ranges of ProFramework and ProConfiguration can be different. Correspondingly, the set ranges are displayed separately. For ProFramework in the push button to set the validity, in the CFM widget in the header of the navigation column.
